My name’s Chiara, and I’m a bookworm.
I had a strange thought today as I closed my book to do one of those necessary things that humans have to do.
Reading a book is like climbing a tree.
A new tree can be difficult to climb. A familiar tree is easy all the way up.
Once up it is as comfortable as can be, until you have to come back down.
The come down is always the worst.
But at all three of these points there’s a chance of falling, and when you fall you get hurt.
After I had that thought I realised once more that I am not normal. I am a bookworm.
