Hi all my ladies and gentle-worms!
My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.
I hope you all had a great time reading my first Bookends Autumn post. I know I had great fun writing it.
Today I’m doing a booktag … I love doing them so thought it would be great to do one of my own.
But what would a booktag be if I didn’t lay down some rules.
1. Remember to tag me back
2. Tag a load of people at the end
3. Have fun doing it
And without further ado … lets begin!
1. Pick 2 books from different genres which give you the same feeling.
Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett and Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
It took me a few minutes to pair up the right books. But I chose these two books because I think they both represent a journey to … not necessarily to adulthood, but to maturity. They are both a journey.
And they give me feels.
2. What book would you read to keep you warm on a cold autumn day?
I would have to choose the book that I have just finished. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz. I have so enjoyed reading this book while curled up in the warm. It’s such a summer based book and it reminds me of the warmer times.
3. What book would you read to chase away the ghosts and ghouls?
I think I would read Harry Potter. At night when I can’t sleep I listen to Harry Potter. The books make ghosts and ghouls and werewolves friendly and that is the part that really makes the ghost, ghouls and demons disappear.
4. Name a character/book that:
a. Made you feel frosty
A character that made me feel frosty? Made me feel … frosty? I think that would have to be Lorcan Salvaterre … only being halfway through the series I don’t know he is to become … but currently I can’t stand him. Whenever I see him and he makes himself a bit more endearing to the characters he is with I just feel colder and colder towards him.
b. Made you want to take a long walk through freshly fallen leaves
Dante. In fact I think that I would want to take that walk with Dante. For fifteen/sixteen he is mature and I want to hear what he has to say … such a unique view on the world.
c. You would share your umbrella with
I took a moment to think about this … Ben De Backer. I really feel for Ben. They re such an amazing person but they go through so much during the course of the book that I think if I could I would offer him the umbrella and a shoulder to cry on.
And I tag Clo @ Cuppa Clo, Sam @ Fictionally Sam, El @ Papertea & Bookflowers, Jenny @ jenjen reviews and Lauren @ Northern Plunder.
And if you want to give it ago please do.
I’ll see you all tomorrow for my last day of hosting bookends autumn.
