Booktag Friday: Rapid Fire Tag

Hi all my bookworms !

How are you all?

My name is Chiara and I am a bookworm.

So I’m trying to do more booktags and make a routine of doing on every Friday. This week I was tagged by Jenny over at Jen Jen Reviews to do the Rapid Fire Booktag. Thanks for the tag. I’ll try to answer these without too much extra thought.

1. E-book or Physical?

Physical

2. Paperback or hardback?

In a pinch I would always choose paperback because of space, weight and other practical reasons, but who doesn’t love a good hardback?

3. Online or Instore book shopping?

Instore. No debate on that one.

4. Trilogies or series?

Series. That way I don’t expect everything to be done in three books and there is more anticipation.

5. Heroes or Villians?

In what sense? Both? Neither? Heroes? Villians? I don’t know?

6. A book you want everyone to read?

I wish you all the best by Mason Deaver.

7. Recommend an underrated book?

13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson. I read this as a teen and it was brilliant.

8. Last book you finished?

Venators: Magic Unleashed by Devri Walls (check out the review here)

9. Last book you bought?

Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon

10. Weirdest thing you’ve used as a bookmark?

Would it be weird to say a bookmark? Usually I use whatever scrap paper, receipt, postcard is around me. It’s weird for me to use an actual bookmark

11. Used book: yes or no?

Yes. Every book deserves a second chance at love.

12. Top three favourite genres?

YA

Fantasy

Romance

13. Borrow or buy?

Buy.

14. Characters or plot?

I’d rather have a good plot, but I think a average plot is forgivable with excellent characters.

15. Long or short books?

Whatever is needed to tell the story.

16. Long or short chapters?

Why isn’t there an middle? I choose average length chapters.

17. First three books I think of:

Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix by J.K.Rowling

Charlotte’s web by E. B. White

This is the bear by ? (Need to look that one up)

Books that make you cry or make you laugh?

I laugh really easy, but it’s difficult to make me cry. If a book makes me cry it must be really good, really well written. Cry.

Our world or fictional worlds?

Fictional.

Audiobooks: yes or no.

Yes, of course.

Do you ever judge a book by its cover?

Will you judge me if I say yes?

Book to movie or book to tv?

Book to tv. There’s more screen hours to get all the details right.

A movie or tv show adaptation you preferred to its book?

I’m not sure I have one.

Series or standalone?

Series.

And I tag ….

YOU!

Feel free to have a go if you like.

If you have any interesting tag leave me a link in the description.

And … until next time!
