My name is Chiara and I am a bookworm.

I hope that you are all staying safe and well.
I’m sorry for disappearing for a few days but last Thursday was the first part of the deadline for my university application and all my effort went into writing the applications in french.
My brain was shattered after it all.
Thursday evening the first part of the deadline went off and then Friday morning I came down with a cold. I think (I hope) it is just a cold. I haven’t had a temperature and for the most part I haven’t been coughing that much. My sinuses have been awful and I have been tired and you can probably guess that I wasn’t in the mood to do much writing.
Also on Friday I made the decision that I wouldn’t be coming home during the holidays in April.
So why am I at the airport on my way home?
If any of you have seen the most recent news from Paris Emmanuel Macron has put France into lockdown from midday today. Luckily I knew of this potentiality on Sunday evening and I quickly changed my flight home.
I love Paris and I love France but I didn’t want to be trapped here indefinitely until this is all over. I will be going back to Paris when possible and I will be carrying on with my university application wit b the home that this will be cleared up so that I can go in September.
