WWW Wednesday #6

Dear all my bookworms

How are you all?

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm

I’m not sure where I left you the last time that I did one of these but I’ll delight in bring you up to date.

If you haven’t heard of WWW Wednesday before let me update you. It was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and currently hosted by Taking on a World of Words. And all you have to do is answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

I have so many books on the go at the moment.  My unexpected return from Paris has meant that Book-mail that I wasn’t expecting to have access to until the summer has suddenly been made available and I just want to dig in.

So currently I am reading:

Eragon by Christopher Paolini

I am determined to read this book through so that I can tell my au pair family back in Paris that I have read it seems as though it was their gift to me.

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J Maas

Sarah J Maas’ latest release has me on the edge of my seat already.  I suspect I may finish this one first.

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

I decided I needed a break from my Rick Riordan reading and decided to listen to something different.

And two others.   At some point something has got to give but I hope not.  Lets just get these books finished and then not start so many all at once next time.

What have you recently finished?

My most recently finished books are:

Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon

The Trials of Apollo: The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan

What will you read next?

I’m slightly unsure what to read next.  I have a growing pile of books that I want to read but I will probably put a pole on twitter with some options when I’m ready to choose the book.

    1. Good omens is really interesting so far and the narrator is great. I watch the amazon series first, which has kind of spoiled it for me so I know what is going to happen, but I’m still enjoying it anyway. I have a feeling it’s going to be a 5 star read.

  1. I read Eragon ages ago and I remember liking it a lot. I should really finish the series at some point. What do you think of Crescent City so far? A friend of mine is a huge fan of Sandhya Menon and she raves about her books so much. What do you think of “Of Curses and Kises”?

  2. What great books! I read Eragon a long time ago and I remember being impressed that someone so young wrote it. I want to read Crescent City and Good Omens. I saw some of the Good Omens series but I haven’t finished it yet ❤️
