How are you all?
My name is Chiara and I am a bookworm.
Like most Fridays I am going to do a Booktag. The tag that I’m doing this week is the Bedtime BookTag. I’ve seen this a few different places, which are linked just here.
Please check them out. Both give really great answers. However, without further ado, here are my answers!
1 – What book kept you up all night?
I’ve stayed up late reading many books through the years but the only book that has kept me up all night is Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah. I was in year 9 about 13 years old and we were reading this in class. I found t interesting and we aways read at such a slow pace in class so I wanted my own copy so I could read ahead. I took it home that night and finished it all in one sitting. I was up all night, tears and laughter and it is still one of my favourite books.
2 – What book made you scared to sleep?
I have to say that I have never been made scared to sleep by a book, but that maybe because I don’t read those sort of books.
3 – What book almost put you to sleep?
I have to admit that I fall asleep regularly while listening to my audiobooks. I put them on at night when I get into bed so the aim is to fall asleep, but occasionally it does feel like I am disrespecting the books.
4 – What book had you tossing and turning in anticipation of it’s release?
House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J Maas
5 – What book has your dream boyfriend?
Can I say all of them?
6 – What book would be a nightmare to live in?
I’m not sure I know which book would be a nightmare to live in. Even the dangerous parts of books I would want to live in and experience.
7 – What book reminds you of nighttime?
For some strange reason, New Moon by Stephanie Meyer always reminds me of night time. But then again it also remind me of busses, even though they travel on a plane in the book. Probably because the first time I read the book on a dark evening on a bus traveling home from the city.
8 – What book has a nightmarish cliffhanger?
All cliffhangers are nightmarish. I hate cliffhangers! But I have to say Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo is the worst one I’ve read recently.
9 – What book have you actually dreamt about?
I’ve dreamt bout a lot of books. If a book is really good I dream about it. I want to live that life and make decisions for the characters. One of the books I dreamt about most, simply because it was such a long book, was Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness.
10 – What fictional monster would you not want to find hiding under your bed?
A Valg from the Thron of Glass series. *shiver* At no point do I want to find one of them under my bed. *shiver*
