Confessions of a Bookworm: Beyond Books

Hi all my bookworms,

How are you all?

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

I think by now you know about my love of book.  Wha sort of books I like and what I don’t like. You know me.

You know I’m a sucker for a good fantasy novel, that I adore romance stories, and YA is always my first choice.  But, like most bookworms, I suppose, I like more than books.

I have had an idea (sounds dangerous, I know) that I want to share with you some of my passions beyond reading.  I don’t know that I will do this that often,  I think it will depend on how you like what I am about to write but I will try to do it once a month.

My main idea for how this should take form is a top 5.  Top 5 favourite things of … such and such a category.

So what should the category be?

First of all I should tell you I watch a lot of tv.

A LOT of tv.

I love to watch films and tv series.

But to do my top 5 films or tv series would be impossible.  I’m not sure I could choose.

So let’s narrow it down.  I watch a lot of Korean dramas.

It’s a funny story of how I got into Korean dramas, and all thanks to one friend in sixth form.

However over the years my passion and love for them has grown and now my Netflix is completely filled with them.  Sometimes it’s hard to get it to recommend English speaking stuff to me.

So, with a lot of rambling I think I have narrowed down what topic I am going to discuss today.

Top 5 Korean Dramas.

(took me long enough)

  1. Heirs (staring Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin)The_Inheritors_poster
  2. Boys Over Flowers (staring Lee Min Ho, Ku Hye Sun, Kim Hyun Joong)Boys_Over_Flowers_(TV_series)_poster
  3. Pinocchio (staring Lee Jong Suk, Park Shin Hye, Kim Young Kwang)PinocchioPromotionalPoster
  4. Cinderella and the Four Knights (staring Jung Il Woo, Park So Dam, Ahn Jae Hyun)Cinderella_and_Four_Knights_-_Promotional_poster
  5. To The Beautiful You (staring Sulli, Choi Min Ho, Lee Hyun Woo)To_The_Beautiful_You-p5

I could go on and on.  I have soooooooooooo many favourites that I have watched over the years.  I’ve followed actors and actresses who have started out with guest appearances or a very minor role and grow until they are main characters.

Do you watch korean dramas?  What are your favourites? Do you want to see more posts like this?  Let me know in the comments down below.
