Book Tag Friday: The Wedding Tag

Hi all my Bookworms,

How are you all?

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

Friday, as all my regular bookworms know, is my time to do a booktag.  April is time for a book event called Bookending Spring.  I was a host for Bookending Autumn last year and I loved doing it.  Our host for the beginning of the month is Sam over at Fictionally Sam and she has created an original tag.  It’s called the wedding tag.

If you want to have a look at Sam’s post, check it out here.

Something Old – What is the oldest book on your shelves?

Is this book I’ve owned the longest or the oldest published book? The physically oldest book that is mine, and not a shared family book, is The Complete Works of Jane Austen. My granny gave me her copy of this book when I was young, about 9/10, and she’d had it since she was young.  I treasure that book.

Something New – Your last book/bookish purchased/received?

The most recent book I purchased is either Bone Criers Moon by Kathryn Purdie or House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J Maas.  I’m not sure which one I purchased first.

Something Borrowed – A character you’d borrow for the day?

This is the sort f question that would change with my mood and what I’m reading at the moment.  As I stand today at this very moment I would choose Hunt

Athalar from House of Earth and Blood.

Something Blue – A book with the word “blue” in the title?

A book with Blue in the title.  There is only one I can think of off the top of my head and it’s the same one that Same chose.  But I’ll have to go with it.  Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuinston
