Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Bought Because I Loved The Cover

Hi all my Bookworms.

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

How are you all?

So today, is, if you weren’t aware, Tuesday.  And that means one thing here at Bookworms Anonymous.  Top Ten Tuesday.

For those of you who aren’t a regular over here at Bookworms Anonymous Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme originally created by The Broke and The Bookish in 2010 and switched to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018.  This week’s topic is ‘books I bought/borrowed because …’ and we have to give the reason and for this I chose ‘because I loved the cover.’

First things first, I don’t buy books because I like the cover, but a pretty cover does make a book more appealing.

  1. Six of Crows has a striking cover, and I bought it because of all the hype, but I still haven’t read it. Hopefully soon!

    1. The first three books were released when I stared reading them in my mid teens and I really liked them but when the next two came out I couldn’t get into and didn’t love them as much.

  2. I have bought books based mainly on the cover but it definitely helps if the premise or blurb also appeals. Six of Crows has an awesome cover, and I love that Catwoman one too!

    1. I’d seen Noughts and Crosses with the old cover and never been really tempted to pick it up (that might have a bit to do with my age than just the cover) but with this new cover release I wanted to try it. And I love the Catwoman cover. So simple and understated yet so beautiful.

  3. You have some great covers (and books) on this list. I buy physical copies of Emma Mills’ older books because I love the covers. I also bought the abs additions of Elle Kennedy’s for the same reason. That’s a little more scandalous, though! 😉
