Booktag Friday: I love Spring

Hi all my bookworms!

My name is Chiara and I am a bookworm.

How are you all?  Safe and at home I hope.

Like always on a Friday I am doing a booktag and despite everything that is going on I am in the mood remind myself that it is spring outside my front door.  That those April showers are followed by a periods where the sun is actually warm.  So if you haven’t guessed already, this tag is a spring tag.  I found this tag on Devour Books with Dana so thanks to Dana for the great source post.  I’m not sure who the creator of this tag is but if any of you know please link them in the comments or let me know and I’ll edit this to add the link in.

But down to business.

How is spring where you live?

Well, as I mentioned already we’ve been having April showers that don’t seem to last very long followed by sunshine, but that s isn’t always hot.  Some days it’s hot enough you don’t need a winter jacket and other days I need a jumper and a blanket over me in the house just to keep warm.  Ah spring in Britain.  On the bright side though the daffodils are out and looking beautiful.

Most anticipated book release this spring?

There are too many to count. Just yesterday I got a copy of What I Like About You by Marisa Kanter and I can’t wait to read it.

Show us a book cover that makes you think of spring?

I don’t know why but the first thing that came to mind when I read this was I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver.  The cover is full of pastels and bright colours.  It just reminds me of spring

Where are you going to read this spring?

In my library at home probably.  Come and read A Bookworm NOT in Paris on Monday where I will explain the whole home library thing.

Find a cover with the sun on it.

I’m going to go with Havenfall by Sara Holland.  I’m not sure if that is a sun or a moon on the cover but for now I’m going to call it a sun for the sake of this question.

What are your favourite spring reads?

I don’t know that I have a particular favourite spring read.  If I had to pick a favourite theme for a book that I would read in spring it would be hope and optimism.  They are my favourite sort of spring books.

Find a book with many different colours on it?

A book with many different colours on it?  I had to do a bit of a google search for this but I came up with this cover.

A Map Is Only One Story

Isn’t  it beautiful?  It’s called A Map is Only One Story and it was wrote by twenty different author and put together and edited by Nicole Cheng and Mensah Demary.  I’ve not read this book I just loved the colours on the cover but if you want to know more check out the Goodreads link.

And I tag … you!  Feel free to have a go at this tag and link back to me.

And, until next time, happy reading.
