Hi all my Bookworms!
My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.
How are you all? Home and safe I hope.
To begin with I want to start by saying a huge thanks to Kate over at Cover to Cover Book Blog for the tag in this original post that she created for Bookends Spring. I really recommend that you check out her original post and that you check out her blog. It really great.
But this does mean one thing … I’m actually doing a booktag that I’ve been tagged in!
Maybe I should start with the rules.
Rules …
- Thank the person who nominated you. (Thank you Kate!)
- Give credit to the original creator of the tag (Kate @ Cover to Cover Book Blog)
- Link back to the original post (this one!)
- Nominate other bloggers who needs some cozy in their life!
- You DO NOT have to wait for a nomination to do this tag! Nominations are optional
- Link your post in the Master Linkey so other BookEnders can see it!
- Finally… link your posts in the comments! It’s not a rule, but I want to see them! 😊
Questions …
Rainy days
a great cosy read while a storm is pounding away.
I’m all about my cosy reads. I can’t get enough of curling up somewhere warm, preferably next to on open fire, with a good book. But what books do I read? I don’t think I read a particular book. Maybe a particular genre. Romance. I love a good romance book!
Thunderstorm
A book that surprised you
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I know all my bookworms talked about their love for this book and this author but I didn’t know what I was getting into when I read it and I was surprised by just how good it was.
Birds Are Chirping
A book about music
Stage Dive series by Kylie Scott. For some reason I don’t talk about this author or this series enough, though I really love it. In fact I’m thinking of re-reading this at the moment. Such a comfort read, but definitely all about music. The four books follow all four members of the same band through a lot of love and a bit a heart brake.

Cosy Blankets
A book that never gets old
I mean I could include the Kylie Scott series because I have read them so many times and they still never get old, but if I was to choose a different book it would be
A Whole New Wardrobe
A book with a beautiful cover
I think we all know my love for a beautiful cover, in fact I did a TTT post dedicated to my cover buys just the other week. Here it is.
Baby Animals
A book featuring adorable animals
Books that have cure adorable animals. Who doesn’t love an cute animal or any kind? But for some reason I can only think of one book with any animals at all. The Billionaire Falls by Melody Anne. Based on a farm we have cute puppies, kitten and the occasional foul.
Puddles
A book with an A+ reading experience – one that was fun to read (even if it wasn’t a total favourite)
I was a bit puzzled by exactly what I should write for this one, but I think I have something I could leave here. In Paris With You by Clementine Beauvais (English translation by Sam Taylor). The reading experience is brilliant, but it wasn’y one of my favourite books.
Candy
Favourite books featuring a sweet, soft romance
I have a feeling that I need to do a fav romances post. I could list so many romances here but I’m just going to stick with these three. What I Like About You by Marisa Kanter, Undercover Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams and I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver

Spring Cleaning
A book you reread every year/fairly often
That would have to be The Stage Dive Series by Kylie Scott. For a set of books I never seem to talk about they seem to fit in most of these categories. Another one of those books that I read a lot of is the last Princess Diaries book, Ten out of Ten by Meg Cabot
Rainbow
Your favourite LGBTQ+ books
Favourite LGBTQ books? This list is long but my favs is down to these three books. I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver, A Gentleman’s Guide To Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee and Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

Early bird gets the worm
A favourite March/April release you read OR favourite 2020 #ARC you’ve received
I have so many releases that I want to read at the moment, but I haven’t read many of them yet so I’m going to put one I have finished and one that I am in the middle of reading. What I Like About You by Marisa Kanter and The House Of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

Picnics
A go-to book that travels everywhere with you or one that you always have on-hand
My go to travel book? I’m can’t say that I have one. When I travel I always read what ever I’m reading at the moment or whatever I feel like reading at the time.
Declaring your spring TBR
List your three most anticipated reads for spring, and link you TBR
There are quite a few books on my list to read at the moment, and as much as I don’t normally have a formal TBR, I have a few books that I want to get to in the coming weeks. Those books are: Havenfall by Sara Holland, The Sisters Grimm by Menna Van Praag, The Crooked Kingdom by Liegh Bardugo Undercover Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams and Hart and Seoul by Kristen Burnham.

I hope you enjoyed this and I hope that you have a go at it.
In terms of tags I’m going to tag:
Asha @ Bad Book Thief | Leslie @ Books Are The New Black
Jenny @ JenJen Reviews | Sasha @ Sasha and Amber Read
Don’t feel pressured to do it but I hope you do and if any of you who are reading this want to do it … feel free.
Stay home and safe, and until next time, happy reading.
Yesss! I loved reading your answers 🙂 Six of Crows was a surprise to me as well! I’m usually terrified of hyped books, so I try to go in with low expectations (and usually fail). If you liked the Stage Dive series, you MUST read the Rock Kiss series by Nalini Singh!! She’s one of my favorite urban fantasy / PNR authors, but her two contemporary series are no joke. It starts with Rock Addiction and follows the members of the band from there 🙂 I want to read the Bromance Book Club – I read Undercover Bromance last week and didn’t love it… the book kind of assumed I’d read the first one (which normally isn’t the case for romance series featuring various couples) so I was a bit lost for most of it. I hope you like it better than I did!

I don’t think I’ve ever come across anyone who’s read stage dive. It’s amazing and I really want to read it again. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy Undercover Romance, but I hope that you enjoy the first one.
