Hi all my bookworms!
My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm
How are you all?
I am reasonably sure this blog is the only thing keeping me sane at this point. For the most part I am handling everything well, but sitting down at my computer everyday and writing to all you bookworms out there is keeping me sane. It gives me something to do more than anything and sharing my reading, or lack of reading as the case maybe some days, is brilliant.
My thanks goes out to you wonderful readers.
But it’s Tuesday and that means I did to stop talking and get down to what we are all here to read.
Top Ten Tuesday.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly book meme originally created by The Broke and The Bookish in 2010 and switched to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018. Each week we are given a different topic. This week the topic is ‘Things I’d Have At A Bookish Party’. I wasn’t sure I could get ten with just that topic and to be honest I’m racking my brain trying to think what to put so I decided to tweak the subject. I’ve added people, fictional and real.
And this is how the list turned out …
Fictional People I’d Have At A Bookish Party
- The Stage Dive band and their wives from the Stage Dive series by Kelley Armstrong
- Celaena Sardothian from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
- Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring from the Heartstopper series by Alice Oseman
- Nina from the Six of Crows series by Leigh Bardugo
Authors I’d Have at a Bookish Party
- Kirsten White
- Rick Riordan
- Leigh Bardugo
- Alice Oseman
- Victoria Schwab
Things I’d Have at a Bookish Party
- Pin badge making
- Bookish cocktails (virgin or alcoholic … your choice)
- Comfy chairs and cuddly cats
- Bookish themed snacks
- Make your own bookmark
Who or what would you have at a bookish party? Let me know in the comments or leave a link to your own post in the comments below.
I am looking forward to read The Six of Crows this year! Your bookish party sounds so much fun 😀
