A Bookworm NOT in Paris: Lockdown and #SpreadKindness

Hi all my Bookworms!

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

How are you all?

I hardly know what to write at the moment.

My life is terribly boring.

Apart from a few adventures with my grandmother at the moment, there is not much happening.

I am reading a lot, and I am writing a lot.

And watching a lot of Netflix and I feel like that is my life at the moment.

I don’t feel the need to go out for a walk as often as I thought I would.

I would love to say that I am catching loads of live streams and I am being adventurous all from my living room.

But it’s not looking that way at the moment.

I’m happy and all and though I my not be exactly, loving life, I am content with the way things are.

I just wish that I had more to tell you.

I feel like this is a very short summary and I intend to make my life more interesting over the next few weeks.

I have, on a different note (and I am only writing this because a parcel arrived) I have been taking part in a few of the #spreadkindness trends on Twitter.  I haven’t put my wishlist out there too much because I don’t have much money to give back in return.  I have done some gifting and I had messages the other day saying that some of my parcels had been delivered.

I have in return received a few wonderful books that I can’t wait to dig into.

I’ll leave them in next month’s book hauls with more special thank yous to my gifters.

  1. I also feel like my life is incredibly boring right now – everyday is starting to feel the same. At least there is a lot of time to read, and I am hoping to start writing again soon (I am in a bit of a creative slump at the moment). I look forward to seeing what books you have received! Wishing you well 🙂

    1. I feel like I should be sharing inspirational quotes about how to keep busy and how I’m so full of energy but at the same time, I feel like I need to be honest with everyone and if I’m having a bad day week or month then I need to say that.

  2. The days can feel so long – I think reading is the only thing giving me real joy at the moment! Sounds like a great Twitter trend, I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed your honest post:)

  3. Great post , as it is about what is happening now, as this is one, in ten years time that people will look back and find out how people dealt with the situation, it is like the Peyps diary for Covid 19 rather than the plague
