Hi all my bookworms!
How are you all?
My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.
I’ve been looking forward to this booktag since I saw it a few weeks ago. It sounds like a lot of fun and reminds me a bit of my first year of uni. Not that I was ever a big drinker or a fan of drinking games, but my flat mates were big partiers and I would on occasion, join in.
To put one of their favourite drinking games to bookish use seems perfect to me.
I have not been tagged in this but I found it over on Stephen Writes and this is how it works.
The Rules
- Answer the questions given to you by your nominator
- Make up your own questions and tag others
-
Would you rather only read mass market paperbacks or only read stiff, non-floppy paperbacks?
Mass market paperbacks. If I’m honest the quality of the book doesn’t bother me that much. I’d rather the story be good that have an excellent quality paper and the like.
-
Would you rather have your favourite character be a terrible person in real life or your favourite author be a horrible person in real life?
I’d rather my favourite character be horrible in real life. I really don’t like it when an author is made out to be a horrible person. I want to enjoy what they create without thinking too much about the person who created it.
-
Would you rather meet your favourite booktubers or meet your favourite book blogger?
Meet my favourite book blogger, hands down. I don’t watch that many booktubers to begin with but I like my book bloggers there are a few I would love to meet.
-
Would you rather have to dog-ear your pages or have to write in them?
I already dog-ear my pages. So that one.
-
Would you rather have a damaged book delivered to you every time or the wrong book delivered to you every time? (The second or third time you may get the right one)
The wrong book. I could treat it as a book surprise box. Each time I order a book I don’t know what I’ll get.
-
Would you rather be a librarian or a bookseller?
Now that one is difficult. Librarian I have the opportunity to take books home and return them … no money spent.
Bookseller. Probably a larger choice at my finger tips, more money to be spent.
But I think I would choose being a bookseller at the end of the day.
-
Would you rather have your favourite character die in the end, or have your favourite character not complete their life goal/mission?
Why would you do either of those things to me? The first one means they die with a sense of completion but the second one your failed mission will always be haunting you. How could you make me choose like that?
*closes eyes and points*
The first one.
-
Would you rather live in a library in space or live in a library under the sea?
I’m going to guess that the library in the sea is waterproof in some way so the books don’t get ruined?
If so, the sea. I love water and would be quite at home living under the sea.
-
Would you rather not be able to read any books from your favourite author or have them not publish anything ever again?
I’d rather they never published anything ever again. I would at least have their existing work, which with Riordan is rather a lot.
-
Would you rather read everything ever published (even the worst books) or read only one book a year?
I think I would rather read everything ever published. I could DNF the ones I didn’t like but as long as I start them I suppose it would technically be called reading them.
Now for my questions … I rather like the questions I was given and I want to see your answers. So answer these questions.
