Hi all my Bookworms!
My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.
How are you all?
I have been waiting to do this tag since I saw it over on Books Nest near the end of April.
Once again I have not been tagged but I love Animal Crossing. I wish I was playing New Horizons along with everyone else but unfortunately I do not own a Switch and they are slightly out of my price range at the moment, especially since I can’t seem to stop buying books. But I did love all the old versions of Animal Crossing. I’ve been playing it since it was on DS and I loved every moment.
Past Villager
Who is a character you found when you were younger that still has a place in your heart?
Oh, that’s easy … Percy Jackson. I keep coming back to him. I love Rick Riordan books and Percy Jackson started it all.
Blather’s Blathering
Recommend a historical fiction book that you think everybody should read.
I’m not sure what answer I can give to that. I don’t think I have read a historical fiction that everyone should read. As a general rule, unless the genre collides with some romance, historical fiction isn’t my thing.
Celeste’s Wish
What is a future book release you wish you could read now?
Oh so many. I have a list a mile long on that account. But my most anticipated, right this second as I’m writing this is the next Bromance Bookclub book.
Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams Goodreads
Timmy and Tommy
What is your favourite sibling relationship in a book?
My first thought, like usual, was to go to Percy Jackson. Camp is full of great sibling relationships. The Stohl brothers, Nico and Bianca, Jason and Thalia, Percy and Tyson. So many great relationships. But if I have to choose a favourite, and with these things I usually do, then I would choose Charlie and Tori Spring in Heartstopper by Alice Oseman. I think that their relationship is brilliant and beautiful and exactly what as sibling relationship should be.
The Easter Bunny
A popular book character that you’re not a big fan of.
Again, I’m not sure how to answer this one. I can’t say I can think of any.
Nook’s Loans
An author you’d give all your money to.
I think this would be pretty obvious, seems I do it anyway with all his books that I buy. Some of them I’ve even bought twice in my attempt to get then all in hardback.
The Sisters Able
What is your favourite fictional family (found or otherwise)?
Floor 19 from Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard.
They are an amazing found family.
The best example I could think of.
It’s a C+
What is a book trope you don’t like that keeps popping up?
Instalove. Cannot stand instalove. For me it should be a slow burn, a will-they-won’t-they. I like the back and to, the anticipation. Instalove just isn’t for me.
The Wedding Camel
What is a favourite book set in a land far away from yours?
I have it when you make me have to choose! I don’t like choosing!
It’s like saying which of my (hypothetical) kids are my favourite. It’s just not done!
Though if I have to choose, the choose would probably be between Throne of Glass series and the GrishaVerse.
What Would Dodos Do?
A fictional land you wish you could fly away to at any moment.
Any of them. All of them.
Probably camp half blood would be at the top of my list.
I seem to be writing about a lot of Rick Riordan books. I seem to have them on the brain.
I’m not going to tag anyone today. But if you want to have a go … please do.
Great fun I might join in sometime 😀

[…] I may be a bit late to the party with this one, but I still wanted to take part in the Animal Crossings book tag. I will admit, I haven’t played Animal Crossing since playing it on the Nintendo Wii maybe ten years or so ago, but I liked the questions so wanted to give it a go! This is a tag I saw on Chiara’s blog Bookworms Anonymous here. […]
