Wrap Up: June

Hi all my Bookworms!

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

How are you all?

June has been a bit of a slow month … especially in terms or reading.

I have read a total of 6 books all month, which means a total of 2278 pages. That seems like a lot for 6 books, but I’m still bothered by that six.

On the upside I have hit my reading goal for the year. My goal was 30 books. That is slightly less than 2019, but I am half way through this year and I have finished my reading goal and I am already ahead. In fact I am 5 books ahead.

There have to be some upsides to 2020 and for me, this is one of them.

But I should probably tell you what books I read in 2020.

And is there anything else I need to talk to you about today? I don’t think I’ve much to tell you about July. It is my birthday this month and I am hoping for A LOT of books but we’ll wait to see what my birthday day brings.

I do have to update you on my followers and giveaway situation. I said at the beginning of June that when I reached 500 followers that I would do a GIVEAWAY. At the beginning of June I wasn’t even quite at 400 followers I am now, as I am writing this at 447 followers so I could hope that by the end of this month another 53 of you fine bookworms will be following me and I can do this giveaway.

And with that I will leave you for today.

Until next time, happy reading!

  1. It always amazes me how readers judge themselves with how many books we read rather than pages, when reading one 800 page book is the same as reading four 200 page books. Especially as page sizes are more consistent than book size.

    1. It amazes me too. I think I may start judging myself on pages read rather than book.
Although you always get one book whose font is tiny and if they used a decent sized font the book would be 100+ pages longer

  2. Congrats for reaching your reading goal! I have watched the Artemis Fowl movie and I honestly was a bit disappointed with it… I wanted to read the books but now I just don’t know. I enjoyed Heartstopper Volume 1 so I want to see how the story evolves!
