Hi all my Bookworms!
My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.
How are you all?
Did everyone have a good week? I hope you all had a good week.
Before I sit down to write these I have a million and one things to talk to you about and the moment I open up a page on WordPress, I don’t know what to write.
This past week has been really interesting. Last Monday Netflix released their trailer of Kissing Booth 2, which looks really great, and my view number sky rocketed as the number of people trying to find out more about the book and what they can expect from the film flocked to my January review of Kissing Booth 2.
I did not love the book, but I won’t rehash that here. Everything that I have to say about the book I said in the review. But I am looking forward to the film and I will be reviewing it as soon as it comes out on the 24th July. Not long to wait!
In other news, I have been playing you a lot of minecraft. I go through stages with games, I go through stages with a lot of things. I play them all day everyday and I don’t want to stop. And then life or something else takes over and it fades, quickly or slowly, from my life until I just don’t play them anymore. And minecraft is one of those games where that happens. I am now currently re-obsessed with the game. And I always play with my brother, who doesn’t do phases but is currently coming out of a phases of playing minecraft. Or maybe he just doesn’t want to play minecraft with me.
Speaking of phases I have been watching a lot of Grey’s Anatomy. I’m currently half way through season 15 and season 16 isn’t on Amazon Prime yet and I know I’m going to run out of episodes. I want more!
So now I’m asking you for recommendations. What TV should I be watching next in the times where I am not reading? I like tv detectives, medical dramas and anything that makes me think.
I await your recommendations.
And finally for today. Last week I told you about the drive out to New Brighton and this week we went for another drive out. We headed up to Lytham first and had a walk along the prom my mum and my brother walked along to the lake and me and my dad picked them up there in the car.
From there we drove further up the coast through Blackpool and up to Fleetwood. Lots of walking and lots of fresh air.
Now I got to go back in time a bit. The only reason we went to those places was because we got up really early so those places were really quiet and we weren’t near any crowds. We took a packed lunch and a packed breakfast and so many snacks. And I had a really great time.
We came the same way back as we went and after such a quiet morning and those roads being so open and free flowing I was surprised by how busy they were all. We basically crawled our way back through Blackpool. The number of people out and about, you wouldn’t think we were still in the middle of a pandemic.
I slept most of the way back after that. And then I slept some more once I got home and I was back in bed almost as soon as I’d finished my tea.
Fresh sea air seems to have that affect on me.
And that has been my week.
I hope you leave me some film recommendations and I hope that you tell me something about your week.
Until next time, happy reading!
