Booktag Friday: I Should Have Read That

Hi all my Bookworms!

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

How are you all?

I’ve had to move a few things around this week because I messed up and I said I would do a blog tour today rather than yesterday or on a Saturday so we are still having Booktag Friday but I want you to stop by again this afternoon for my stop on the tour.

For the third week running I am doing a tag that I have actually been tagged in. I am not sure this streak will last, but if anyone wants to tag me in something so that this streak will last you are more than welcome to.

This week’s tag is I Should Have Read That which I was tagged in by Jenny @ Jen Jen Reviews. You can find her post here.

A Book that a certain friend is always telling you to read

My bestie loves Jojo Moyes. I’ve read the first book in the Me Before You series and loved and hated it. I couldn’t even finish the film once I knew what happened. But my bestie says the books get happier and that I should finish the series.

The books are:

After You by Jojo Moyes

Still Me by Jojo Moyes

A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up

So many books I have been on my TBR for ages. In fact I did a Top Ten Tuesday post about it but the one I need to read the most is …

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

Goodreads | Waterstones

A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten around to finishing yet

I have still not read Winter by Marissa Meyer … but I am working on remedying that by re-reading the series.

Goodreads | Waterstones

A classic you’ve always like the sound of, but never actually read

A classic … there are so many.

I’ve started Jane Eyre so many times but I loose interest part way through … though I do get a bit further through with read.

Goodreads | Waterstones

A classic I have never started and really want to read is Emma by Jane Austen. Well, in fact I want to read the rest of Jane Austen’s work because I have only read Pride and Prejudice.

Goodreads | Waterstones

A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read

Oh, that’s a simple answer

A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

Goodreads | Waterstones

A book that inspired a tv/film adaptation that you really love, but haven’t read yet

As a general rule I try to read all book before I watch the film, or at least straight away afterwards after I have found out that it is a film.

Off the top of my head I can’t think of a film or tv series I have watch whose book I haven’t read.

A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t read yet

As much as I try to be active on Instagram … I’m really not. I get so jealous of all the amazing pictures that everyone creates and mine are no where near that good, so I steer away from spending hours and hours on Instagram.

And this is usually the part where I tag some people .. but instead I’m just going to tag YOU.

I hope you do it … but feel no pressure to do it.
