#SixForSunday: Wintery Colours

Hi all!

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

How are you?

When I looked at this month’s topics for S4S I wondered what could be meant by the topic titles, but then I just presumed that it was vague because it was open to interpretation.

My interpretation is going to be for the covers and so I have been search my shelves in hopes of finding something that fits into the colder colour spectrum.

But first let me tell you all of this month’s topics and #S4S. Six For Sunday, or #S4S for short, is a weekly book meme created in June 2017 by Steph over at A Little But A Lot, and each week there is a different topic.  I really encourage you to check out their site.

2nd August: Winter Colours (<- this week)

9th August: Spring Colours

16th August: Summer colours

23rd August: Autumnal colours

30th August: Your Favourite colour!

Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

Goodreads | Waterstones

Artemis Fowl and the Artic Incident by Eoin Colfer

Goodreads | Waterstones

I couldn’t quite find the cover that I have at home which is more of an ice blue and glitters slightly and reminds me of frost on the ground, but this is pretty cold, don’t you think?

Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian

Goodreads | Waterstones | Review

I know flames aren’t exactly what everyone thinks when they hear winter but it reminded me of huddling round a fire on a cold winters evening.

Havenfall by Sara Holland

Goodreads | Waterstones

Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Goodreads | Waterstones

I suppose the bare branches could be more autumnal, but it said more winter to me than autumn.

A Winter’s Promise by Christelle Dabos

Translated by Hildegarde Serle

Goodreads | Waterstones

What could be more wintery than a book with winter in the title?
