Books I Did Haul: July 2020

Hi all!

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

How are you?

I am cutting back on the number of books that I am buying but I still managed to buy quite a few last month.

My cut back is because I’ve bought a few interesting bookish items over the past month and hopefully by this time next month (it’s hard to believe that next month is September) i’ll be able to tell you about them.

Here is the list of books that I bought last month.

Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Goodreads | Waterstones

I think anyone who has been following my WWW Wednesday post will know that I am reading this at the moment. Progress is slow going but hopefully I’ll finish it soon.

The Silk Road by Peter Frankopan

Goodreads | Waterstones

I bought this in a small indie bookshop on my first big journey out. You couldn’t keep me out of a bookshop for long.

Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me by Mariko Tamaki and Rosemary Valero-O’Connell

Goodreads | Waterstones | Mini-review

I received this in a giveaway, and I loved it. I loved it so much that I’ve already reviewed it.

Sex and Vanity by Kevin Kwan

Goodreads | Waterstones

I keep saying that I’m going to read this but all my ARCs and Blog Tour books keep getting in the way. I’ll read it eventually. It really is top of my TBR

Loveless by Alice Oseman

Goodreads | Waterstones

Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler

Goodreads

I bought this because Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl recommended it. I’ve not started it yet but it looks like a great read.

Last Tang Standing by Lauren Ho

Goodreads | Waterstones

This is being compared to Sex and Vanity so I couldn’t not buy it and check it out.

If you have any recommendations for books I should buy this month, please leave them in the comments and I look at them.

Until next time, happy reading
