Top Ten Tuesday: Books Written Before I Was Born (Terminal TBR Residents)

Hi all!

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

Books written before I was born. What an interesting topic?! And a chance to dive through my shelf of classic, the majority of which I have never read.

But before I dive let me remind you once more what Top Ten Tuesdays is all about. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly book meme that is going ten years strong that was originally created by The Broke and The Bookish in 2010 and switched to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018.  Each week we have a different topic.

Because I have read so few of these books, you can consider them TBR long term reisdents.

    1. The only Austen I’ve read is Pride and Prejudice but I keep reading it and her other works occasionally sneak into my tbr. I think Peter Pan will be amazing (when I finally get to read it). Let’s see how much Disney changed!

      1. Not watched that one, personally. Though I do love the bbc adaptation of Emma with Johnny Lee Miller. That may have to be first on my list.

  1. Great list! I need to give the Jeeves and Wooster books a try–my dad’s always recommending those books to me–and I love Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. I had to read Peter Pan at uni and remember finding it quite creepy – there’s something sinister about a bunch of grown men calling a little girl ‘mother’!

  2. I’ve read/listened to nearly all of these. I am in the minority of not liking Alice. I love Peter Pan and several others. Just grab one sometime! I have several of these long-term tenants on my TBR, too, such as The Bostonians. I need to take my own advice, lol.

  3. I loved this weeks TTT prompt. There were just so many amazing books released before I was born! Great list! The only one I’ve actually read from yours is Alice in Wonderland!
