Blurb

When Graham Barnett named his diner The Tourist Trap, he meant it as a joke. Now he’s stuck slinging reindeer dogs to an endless string of resort visitors who couldn’t interest him less. Not even the sweet, enthusiastic tourist in the corner who blushes every time he looks her way…

Two weeks in Alaska isn’t just the top item on Zoey Caldwell’s bucket list. It’s the whole bucket. One look at the mountain town of Moose Springs and she’s smitten. But when an act of kindness brings Zoey into Graham’s world, she may just find there’s more to the man than meets the eye…and more to love in Moose Springs than just the Alaskan wilderness.

My Thoughts

I loved this sweet romance. It was so brilliant and is exactly the sort of thing that I would do.

When I say that, I mean that Zoey reminds me a lot of myself. I love to travel and I really could see myself being that desperate for a vacation, or to go somewhere that I’ve always dreamed of, that I book a cheap vacation and do everything on a shoestring.

Zoey had mixed success with her shoestring holiday, but it resulted in some fascinating stories, the sort that you’d tell your grand kids when your old and grey.

Morgenthaler’s writing captivated me right from the beginning and I simply couldn’t put my phone down. Several hours curled up in a chair, refusing to do anything else but finish this book. It held me in it’s embrace and made me dream of far off places that I just can’t wait to go to. This book is perfect for those looking for an escape from the everyday and looking for that little bit of adventure.
