I am posting this incredibly late. I was meant to write this over the weekend so I would be organised for this week but I ended up working an extra small shift on Sunday and missed a day where I could sit down and write blog posts. I worked all day yesterday (and had a panic attack at work) and today I am off.
I've had so much fun with the #S4S posts that we've been doing each month. Scouring my shelves at trying to decide whether a book is more summery or spring-y (is that a word? What is the word to describe how like spring something is?)
It feels like weeks since I finished this book, a book that I was so eager to read but now I'm really not sure what to say about it.
I've had a bit of a strange week last week. I started loads of books, but I didn't seem to finish any. That's probably my own fault for not sticking with any of them and actually persevering with them.
A new month has been and gone and I'm back to talk about all the books I didn't haul last month. I put a bit of a halt on book buying last month, mostly because I I have splurged a bit on a few illumicrate boxes.
I was really grateful to get tagged this week I was trying to find out which of my back catalogue I was going to do this week. But then I was tagged in this and I thought it was prefect. I don't normally do reading challenges but this is just right up my street.
Another week of reading, another few books finished. I don't want to jinx myself, but so far I seem to be keeping the momentum I found at the end of July going. Maybe I can even keep it going all month? Who knows?
What a coincidence that the week we started doing colour themed covers in #SixForSunday we do colours in Top Ten Tuesday. We're they working together behind our backs?
I know you didn't expect to hear from me again today, I didn't expect to be back with you today but I have to start by apologising to Rachel and Kathleen that this didn't go up yesterday.
I hope that you have all had a great month and I want to thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday. They were all really amazing.
