Books I Didn’t Haul: May Edition

So … May is over. Usually that means today I would be doing a recap but I thought we really should talk about all those books I didn't buy.

A Bookworm NOT in Paris: Cookies, Kissing Booth and Mental Health

I've enjoyed writing my Bookworm NOT in Paris posts recently. Some one compared them to Peeps' diary for covid. I quite like that analogy … so check out this week's event in my covid diary.

Books I Didn’t Haul: April 2020

Well, April has been and gone. Does no one else think that April just flew buy? I know I said that last week in my monthly round up but I am stating it again.

Like the las two months money is tight, tighter since because of furlough and I don't know what exactly I am getting paid because the change of tax year. It's all a bit complicated.

Beyond Books: Films

This week I want to talk about some films I have been watching while in Lockdown.

I love myself a good film. I have favourite directors, actors, composers. If it is something to do with television and film, I probably have a favourite. And one night I was in the mood to watch one of my favourite combination of favourites. Steven Spielburg as director, John Williams on the music, Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep as leading actors. Anyone know the film?

A Bookworm NOT in Paris: Glee and Music

Is it Monday again? Is anyone really keeping track of what day it is anymore? It feels like day 1000000 of lockdown. Not that I'm complaining my reading life has never been better. Nothing else in my life is seems good, apart from my blog, but one thing at a time, right?

Book I Did Haul: March 2020

It feels a little weird to still be writing stuff about March this late into April but I didn't want to put all of this into the March round up because it would be way too long. Last Saturday I talked about books I didn't haul last month (here's the post if you want to see it) and this Saturday we are going to talk about the books I did haul. There are eight in total, most of them were audible purchases because I had quite a few credits saved up.

Books I Didn’t Haul: March 2020

So, like last month money is a bit tight, not working due to the lockdown and all. I haven't the money to buy all the books that I want so I've been adding them to my wishlist on Amazon. I thought it would be interesting to share those books that I didn't haul last month with all you bookworms. Maybe you can help me decide which books should be added to the top of my To-Buy list.

Bookworm NOT in Paris: Lockdown, Routine and MASH

I have been struggling for ideas as what to write on a Monday at the moment. During, what now seems such a short time in Paris, I was writing to you weekly on places I had been, things I'd seen, bookshops I'd been to and it hardly seems worth it while we're in lockdown. But I thought it might be useful to tell you what I am doing in order to keep cabin fever at bay during this difficult time.

Confessions of a Bookworm: Beyond Books

Hi all my bookworms, How are you all? My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm. I think by now you know about my love of book.  Wha sort of books I like and what I don't like. You know me. You know I'm a sucker for a good fantasy novel, that I adore… Continue reading Confessions of a Bookworm: Beyond Books
