Happy Monday, everyone!
I hope you are all well and keeping busy, whether this is at home or heading back to work.
June has been a bit of a slow month … but let's see what I've done anyway.
I know that I am a couple of weeks late doing the mid-year freak out tag. Some people did this back in mid-June, but I wanted to do this anyway
Last week we did a walk through of some of my favourite genres and which books had won the Goodreads Choice Award last year.
This week we have four more topics to discuss.
So … May is over. Usually that means today I would be doing a recap but I thought we really should talk about all those books I didn't buy.
I've enjoyed writing my Bookworm NOT in Paris posts recently. Some one compared them to Peeps' diary for covid. I quite like that analogy … so check out this week's event in my covid diary.
Another week been and gone.
Find out what I've been doing ...
Well, April has been and gone. Does no one else think that April just flew buy? I know I said that last week in my monthly round up but I am stating it again.
Like the las two months money is tight, tighter since because of furlough and I don't know what exactly I am getting paid because the change of tax year. It's all a bit complicated.
This week I want to talk about some films I have been watching while in Lockdown.
I love myself a good film. I have favourite directors, actors, composers. If it is something to do with television and film, I probably have a favourite. And one night I was in the mood to watch one of my favourite combination of favourites. Steven Spielburg as director, John Williams on the music, Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep as leading actors. Anyone know the film?
Is it Monday again? Is anyone really keeping track of what day it is anymore? It feels like day 1000000 of lockdown. Not that I'm complaining my reading life has never been better. Nothing else in my life is seems good, apart from my blog, but one thing at a time, right?
